To our valued customers – as of Jan. 1, 2013, we unfortunately will be increasing our parrot purchase prices slightly due to the ever increasing costs involved in the production & maintenance of these magnificent parrots. New prices will be displayed Jan. 01, 2013.

We are researching blue and gold macaws to see if one would be a good match for us. We travel to our lake house about eight times a year. It’s a 3 1/2 hour ride one way. Would the trip be too stressful for a macaw?
    Thank you for your help.

Absolutely not! Hand fed babies thrive when you treat them as part of the family. They love to be with you. It doesn’t take much time to create a loving and trusting bond. They are very much like children…. The more you put into them / the better they are.

      Thank you.

We haven’t bred Amazons in a very long time. The Blue Fronted make good pets as long as you get them right after they’re weaned.
If you still haven’t found one, we have a good friend that breeds them. They won’t start breeding until Spring. You can email us at: and we can hook you up.

      Regards, Teresa
